BYZANTINE DRAWING I will teach you essential iconographic drawing skills focusing on proportion, geometry, Byzantine design principles and technique. This course begins with instruction in iconographic facial features to design a frontal face template that you will learn how to modify to become the Face of Christ, St. John the Baptist, St. George, Our Holy Mother and Christ Emmanuel. Provides important foundational skills for drawing, scaling and adapting icons.
Step by Step Guidance. Students will receive an instructional manual and link to the pre-recorded online class to complement in-person instruction. Competency is built on weekly homework assignments which is critical to your success in this class. Homework will be corrected in class.
