BYZANTINE DRAWING I will teach you essential iconographic drawing skills focusing on proportion, geometry, Byzantine design principles and technique. This course begins with instruction in iconographic facial features to design a frontal face template that you will learn how to modify to become the Face of Christ, St. John the Baptist, St. George, Our Holy Mother and Christ Emmanuel. Provides important foundational skills for drawing, scaling and adapting icons.
Byzantine Drawing is offered both in-person and online. In-person students will also have access to the video program.
This in-person class meets on Thursday evenings from 6-8:30pm.
