The San Damiano Cross is a complicated, multifaceted icon on a custom fabricated icon board from Italy, in the shape of the cross. Fr. Jon Buffington will instruct advanced students in completing the San Damiano Cross in a 2-session program. Each Semester will offer 12 weeks of instruction.
Skills to be acquired in this icon: students will draw the figures in the cross; learn to paint small, full standing figures, Byzantine anatomy, and complex details.
This class meets on Monday afternoons from 2-4:30pm.
Each session requires a separate registration.
