Classical Iconography Institute and Mount Angel Abbey are pleased to present an exhibition of original icons in the Aalto Library from July 2 through July 29, 2024.
Iconographers, trained in the program founded at Mount Angel Abbey will display original Byzantine icons in the most ancient iconographic tradition of egg tempera. Students of the Classical Iconography will display icons of the Holy Mandylion and Theotokos in a special student exhibit.
The Iconography Exhibition will be open during the Abbey Bach Festival.
